Birding & Wildlife
Supporting nature conservation, wildlife protection and education efforts for the J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge on Sanibel Island and Captiva Island in Southwest Florida.
This non-profit veterinary hospital is dedicated to the rehabilitation and return to the wild of ill, injured and orphaned native wildlife. Thousands of patients – from all over Southwest Florida are cared for and released annually.
CROW believes in the importance of promoting awareness and appreciation of our native and migratory wildlife through education. To foster that belief, CROW participates in wildlife studies and sponsors an educational program that is a “must-do” for animal lovers of all backgrounds.
The Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation is dedicated to the conservation of coastal habitats and aquatic resources on Sanibel and Captiva and in the surrounding watershed. SCCF manages over 1300 acres of land on the islands (and owns an additional 500 acres on nearby Pine Island).
